It all started with prayer—lots of it.
Both Scott and Marie, in their own time and in their own way, had been praying for the right person. Not just for someone to share life with, but for someone to walk through life in faith with, someone who understands their heart, and loves them for who they are. Little did they know, those prayers were being answered in the most beautiful way.
When we met, it felt like the timing was just right. There was a quiet confidence in both of us that said, “This is it.”
As we got to know each other, we realized how much our lives had been preparing us for this moment. We came from similar backgrounds and shared the same values that had shaped us—love for family, faith in God, and a desire to live with purpose. Conversations flowed easily, laughter came naturally, and before we knew it, we weren’t just dating—we were best friends.
It wasn’t just the big moments that made it clear. It was the little ones—praying together, supporting each other through challenges, dreaming about the future, and finding comfort in the ordinary. We often found ourselves saying, “This feels different,” and it was. It felt like home.
We believe our story is a reminder that God’s timing is always perfect, and that when we wait on Him, He brings something even better than we could have imagined. We’re so grateful for every step that led us here, and we couldn’t be more excited to begin this next chapter—hand in hand, heart to heart, and with God at the center of it all.
